We love celebrating our members’ journeys, and this month we’re shining a spotlight on Jeremy Samson, a passionate fitness enthusiast and a devoted advocate for the autism community. A member of Element Fitness for nearly a year, Jeremy has left a lasting impact on us and those around him with his inspiring journey.
Jeremy first joined us in 2009 when we were still known as Fitness First Nunawading. Since then, he has seen an incredible transformation in his overall muscle mass, size, and fitness levels. Jeremy credits his consistent workout regimen at Element Fitness for enhancing his performance in competitive tennis and overall wellbeing.
At Element Fitness, Jeremy appreciates our unwavering support for his cause – helping the autism community. He also values our high-quality equipment and ample space, which he believes is crucial for a full workout.
Looking towards the future, Jeremy aims to keep enhancing his cardio and strength, while focusing on quality recovery between exercises. He believes starting with basic training, finding a workout buddy for motivation, and indulging in a light sauna session post-workout are keys to kickstart any fitness journey.
Balancing work and exercise can be challenging, but Jeremy advocates discipline and careful planning. Find the best time in your day and dedicate it to your health and fitness.
When asked about his favorite food, Jeremy didn’t hesitate to share his love for pizza, especially when it’s homemade.
And a fun fact about Jeremy? In 2016, out of 40,000 applicants, he was selected as the winner of the Health and Wellbeing award at the Victorian Young Achiever Awards – an achievement that underscores his dedication and commitment.
Today, Jeremy runs Time 2 Train, an innovative program that combines sports and activities with games to train individuals on the Autism Spectrum. It’s not just about fitness, but about empowering these individuals to live their best life.
Jeremy’s story is a testament to the power of fitness and its potential to transform lives. We’re incredibly proud to have him as part of our Element Fitness family.
