LM STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT

LES MILLS STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT is progressive strength training, meaning each workout focuses on a specific training protocol for building strength over the 12 workouts. This ranges from Foundational Strength, to Hypertrophy, to Pure Strength, while the structure and feel is very different to BODYPUMP™.

The music is there to provide great workout tracks without moving to the beat. Instead, LES MILLS STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT uses Time Under Tension, as well as rep-ranges depending on the prescribed protocol of the workout.

LES MILLS SHAPES™ fuses Pilates, barre and power yoga. 

It’s fair to say we’ve taken the most challenging aspects of Pilates, barre and power yoga, synergized them and fused them together in a way that’s brought out the best of each.

This means there are unique Pilates movements, the principles of barre (a.k.a. lots of pulses) and innovative additions such as sliders and weight plates during power yoga. The intensity of the power yoga is great, and the movements are athletic and great for toning, conditioning and working on strength and stability. I really pushed the boundaries and my own level of creativity. Its unique and the result is a boutique workout like nothing you’ve ever done before.

What is Functional Strength?

A unique approach to strength training that builds power and athleticism in a fun, balanced, don’t think just do it kinda way. This series of full-body workouts mixes multi-joint movements and loaded exercises to build athletic strength, increase muscle tone, and push you to get fitter and stronger for everyday life. The creative movement and structure mean that at the same time as building muscle, you lift your heart rate and improve athleticism and power. This is strength training like never before. Designed by athletes and scientists, this science-backed, total-body strength training draws on the best of sports conditioning and performance training.

These workouts will transform the way you train. You work hard, challenging your body with new movements and combinations that will get you fit and strong for life.

LM CORE

LM CORE

Inspired by elite athletic training principles, LES MILLS CORE™ is a scientific core workout for incredible core tone and sports performance. You build strength, stability and endurance in the muscles that support your core, improve balance, assist injury prevention, and become better at everything you do.

All the moves in LES MILLS CORE have options, so it’s challenging but achievable whatever your level of fitness. During the workout, trained Instructors guide you through correct technique as you work with resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as bodyweight exercises like crunches, and hovers. Plus there are some hip, butt and lower back exercises too.

LES MILLS CORE is available as a 30- or 45-minute workout.

KONGA® is a 50 minute easy-to-follow, mood-elevating, high intensity fusion of Boxing, Cardio, Dance and Sculpting set to the hottest beats. KONGA® is the all-in-one workout that will torch calories, tone up your bod, make your soul smile & inject your body with an endorphin overload. You will have so much fun sweating it out you might forget you’re burning up to 600 calories. KONGA® is designed to be super inclusive for all shapes, ages, sizes and of course those who have two left feet.

REFORMER FLOW

A class designed for all levels of participants or anyone looking for a more gentile introduction to reformer. The class is designed to help you begin your reformer journey. The class will focus on strengthening your core muscles as well as muscle lengthening.

REFORMER PILATES STRENGTH

A class that will push your boundaries, you can expect lots of progressions so participants can choose how hard they would like to push there own bodies.

REFORMER PILATES TONE

Designed to have progressions and regressions depending on those in the class. This class will focus on whole body toning.

BODY ATTACK

BODY ATTACK

BODY ATTACK® is the sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilisation exercises.

BODY BALANCE

BODY BALANCE

The Yoga, Thai Chi, and Pilates workout that build flexibility and strength leaving you feeling centred and calm.

BODYCOMBAT

BODYCOMBAT

Moves and stances developed from a range of self defence disciplines like karate, boxing and tai kwon do. You’re fighting for your life, the fitness you deserve and the total body wellness you must have.

BODYPUMP

BODYPUMP® is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60 minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Get the results you came for and fast.

BOXING

BOXING

High intensity training with easy to follow combinations make this workout draw the crowd! A fun and fast paced class that will surely get your heart pumping. High energy output and high cardio workout. Punch and kick free-standing punch bags, to let your days stress disappear.

MAT PILATES

MAT PILATES

Develop the ‘Pilates Body’ long, lean, and strong with a hidden strength under a healthy muscle tone. Through the prescribed exercise routines on the mat we will re-train the body to work efficiently with minimal effort and no tension.

RPM

RPM

RPM is an indoor cycling class, set to the rhythm of motivating music. It burns a lot of calories and gets you fit. Based on the sport of cycle racing, RPM uses a series of simulated climbs and sprints to create a workout where you control the intensity it’s literally easier than riding a bike for 45 minutes.

SPRINT

SPRINT

A 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout using an indoor bike to achieve rapid results with minimum joint impact. The short duration of a LES MILLS SPRINT workout will motivate you to push your physical and mental limits. It features bursts of intensity where you work as hard as possible, followed by periods of rest that prepare you for the next effort. The payoff is you will smash your fitness goals and burn calories for hours after each workout.

YOGA YIN

YOGA YIN

The essence of Yin Yoga is to surrender, bringing balance to your practice and your life. A strong focus on using the breath and grounding postures to lengthen fascia tissues surrounding the hips, spine, chest, and shoulders. It reenergises and calms your nervous system. The perfect way to release the tension and stress from the day.

YOGA VINYASA

YOGA VINYASA

Vinyasa is an open class that links breath with postures and movement such as balancing, inversions, backbends and a floor series. This increases strength, flexibility, and focus while clearing the body of toxins, leaving you feeling calm and centred.

FIIT

FIIT

A freestyle HIIT class where members will get a different workout each and every week from basic circuit work to full on HIIT work or even boxing

ZUMBA

ZUMBA

A 45 min fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms.  Like SH’BAM, it’s a disguised workout.  You have so much fun, you don’t realise you’re working out.
