- 1/2 small to medium avocado, peeled
- 1 cup fresh spinach (or 1/2 cup frozen spinach)
- 1 fresh or frozen banana, peeled and cut into chunks (optional)*
- 1/4 cup frozen mango or pineapple chunks
- 1 tablespoon raw hemp seeds
- 1 teaspoon maca powder
- 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
1 cup unsweetened nut milk, plus more if needed to thin
- frozen or fresh berries and granola, for serving.
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
You can easily turn this smoothie into a meal by adding in some greek yogurt or a scoop of protein powder for a little more staying power
